Guides to work the product already does.
These are pages on this site, not a library of articles waiting to be published. Each one explains a workflow that is in QABILL: what the document changes, and where the product stops.
Start with the document, not the menu
- Follow one sale
Quote, sales order, fulfillment, invoice, payment, return.
- Follow one purchase
Vendor, purchase order, goods receipt, vendor bill, payment.
- Prepare GSTR-1
Outward rows, then a JSON file for offline upload.
All guides
- 01How QABILL moves stock between locationsA transfer deducts the source, stays unavailable while it is in transit, and is received at the destination. Same GSTIN only. Short and damaged quantities are recorded on receipt.
- 02How GSTR-1 JSON export worksThe outward report downloads GSTN JSON for Prepare Offline upload, plus Excel. It is not a filing. The screen says so.
- 03How credit control stops an orderWhen a credit limit is on, confirmation or a later increase can stop past available credit. A payment on a draft does not change the balance until the order is confirmed.
- 04How a purchase order is receivedGoods receipt records what arrived. A short delivery stays partially received. A receipt above the open quantity is blocked. The vendor bill cannot exceed that open quantity when it is linked.
- 05How stock, packs and locations workOn hand, reserved, incoming, unsellable and available are separate. A pack expands into the base unit by a factor. Batch picking follows the earliest expiry.
- 06How a customer’s selling rate is chosenGroups apply a percent or an amount, on all items or on a selection. Two groups resolve by lowest rate or by group rank. There is no third rule.
- 07What the 32 reports coverFinance, GST, sales, purchases, inventory, logistics, expenses and tasks. Draft documents are left out of the confirmed figures.
