What is QABILL?
QABILL is a cloud-based billing and business operations platform that brings billing, sales, inventory, purchasing, payments and reporting together in one platform.
Who is QABILL designed for?
QABILL is designed for businesses that need to manage everyday billing and business operations such as sales, inventory, purchasing, payments and reporting.
The Use Cases page describes how this fits retail and shops, distributors and wholesalers, trading businesses, multi-location businesses, and businesses that sell products and services.
Can I try QABILL before subscribing?
Yes. QABILL includes a 14-day free trial, and no credit card is required to start it.
When the trial ends, the account moves to the Free plan unless a paid plan is chosen.
Do I need to install QABILL?
No. QABILL is a cloud-based platform and works in a web browser on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
Can I use QABILL on mobile?
Yes. QABILL is designed to work across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
What plans does QABILL offer?
QABILL offers three plans: Free, Essential and Professional. The Free plan has fixed capacity. Essential and Professional start with the same capacity, and businesses can add users, locations and sales order capacity as they grow.
What does the Free plan include?
The Free plan is ₹0. It includes 1 user, 1 location and up to 50 sales orders per month, with fixed capacity.
It includes counter and instant sales, billing and invoicing, quotations, sales orders, customers, customer payments, basic inventory, stock adjustments, basic GST, basic reports, and access on desktop, tablet and mobile.
What is included in Essential?
Essential is the complete business operations plan. It starts with 1 user, 1 location and 200 sales orders per month.
Users, locations and sales order capacity can be expanded. Essential adds capabilities beyond the Free plan, including stock transfers, packs, shipment and dispatch, purchasing, purchase orders, goods receiving, expenses, and GST and GSTR reports.
What is included in Professional?
Professional includes the capabilities of Essential, plus Customer Groups, Approvals, Work Queue, Templates & Configuration and Custom Fields.
Professional starts with the same capacity as Essential: 1 user, 1 location and 200 sales orders per month.
What is the difference between Essential and Professional?
Both plans start with the same capacity: 1 user, 1 location and 200 sales orders per month.
Professional adds advanced control, workflow and customization, including Customer Groups, Approvals, Work Queue, Templates & Configuration and Custom Fields.
How does annual pricing work?
Annual billing has a lower monthly equivalent than monthly billing. The amount is charged for the year, not as that monthly figure every month.
Essential is ₹699 per user per month when billed monthly. When billed annually, Essential is ₹499 per user per month, charged as ₹5,988 per year for the included user.
Professional is ₹999 per user per month when billed monthly. When billed annually, Professional is ₹799 per user per month, charged as ₹9,588 per year for the included user.
How much does an additional user cost?
On Essential, an additional user is ₹299 per month when billed monthly. When billed annually, it is ₹299 per user per month, charged as ₹3,588 per additional user per year.
On Professional, an additional user is ₹499 per month when billed monthly. When billed annually, it is ₹499 per user per month, charged as ₹5,988 per additional user per year.
How much does an additional location cost?
An additional location is ₹299 per month when billed monthly, or ₹2,999 per year when billed annually. This add-on price is the same on Essential and Professional.
How much does an additional 100 sales orders cost?
Each extra block of 100 sales orders is ₹99 per month when billed monthly, or ₹999 per year when billed annually.
Can I create quotations and sales orders?
Yes. QABILL supports quotations and sales orders as part of its sales workflow, including on the Free plan.
Can QABILL handle billing and invoicing?
Yes. Billing and invoicing are part of QABILL's sales workflow, including on the Free plan.
Can I track customer payments?
Yes. QABILL supports customer payment tracking as part of the sales workflow, including on the Free plan.
Does QABILL support sales order fulfilment?
Fulfilment depends on the plan. The Free plan includes counter and instant fulfilment.
Essential and Professional also include shipment and dispatch.
Can QABILL manage inventory?
Yes. The Free plan includes basic inventory and stock adjustments. Essential and Professional include broader inventory operations, including stock transfers and packs.
Can I manage inventory across multiple locations?
Essential and Professional start with 1 location and can add more. Inventory can be managed across those locations.
The Free plan includes 1 location and that capacity is fixed.
Can I transfer stock between locations?
Stock transfers are available on Essential and Professional. They are not included on the Free plan.
Can I adjust stock?
Yes. Stock adjustments are supported, including on the Free plan.
Can I manage packs?
Packs are available on Essential and Professional. They are not included on the Free plan.
Does QABILL support purchasing?
Yes. Purchase orders and goods receiving (GRN) are included on Essential and Professional. They are not included on the Free plan.
Can I create purchase orders?
Yes. Purchase orders are included in Essential and Professional.
Can I record goods received / GRN?
Yes. Goods receiving (GRN) is included in Essential and Professional.
Can I manage vendor payments?
QABILL can record vendor payments as part of purchasing and finance. Purchase orders and goods receiving are on Essential and Professional.
Does QABILL support GST reporting?
Yes. The Free plan includes basic GST. Essential and Professional include GST and GSTR reports.
QABILL prepares operational GST reporting data. It does not file GST returns.
Does QABILL provide GSTR reports?
GST and GSTR reporting, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B reporting data, is available on Essential and Professional. The Free plan includes basic GST.
Can I track outstanding payments?
QABILL can show receivables and payables that still need attention. Customer payments are available on every plan. Vendor payments sit with purchasing and finance on the applicable paid plans.
Is Storefront included in the QABILL subscription?
No. Storefront is a separate optional add-on. It is not included in the Free, Essential or Professional base plans.
How much does Storefront cost?
Storefront is ₹199 per month when billed monthly, or ₹1,999 per year when billed annually.
Can I add Storefront later?
Storefront is a separate optional add-on, so a business can add it when it is ready to sell online.
Does QABILL support WhatsApp, SMS and Email communication?
WhatsApp, SMS and Email through the Communication Wallet are coming soon. They are not a connection you can switch on today.
Is WhatsApp, SMS or Email included in the subscription?
No. When the Communication Wallet launches, WhatsApp, SMS and Email will not be separate subscription plans. Usage will be charged separately through the prepaid wallet.
How does the Communication Wallet work?
The Communication Wallet is coming soon. When it is available, a business will recharge the wallet, usage of WhatsApp, SMS and Email will reduce the balance, and the wallet can be recharged again when the balance runs down.
Is the Communication Wallet a monthly subscription?
No. When it launches, communication usage will be handled separately through the prepaid Communication Wallet, not as a monthly subscription plan.

Can I increase my capacity later?
Yes. Essential and Professional can add users, locations and sales order capacity as requirements grow. The Free plan has fixed capacity.
Can I change plans later?
Plan change terms are not available yet. Contact QABILL if you need help choosing a plan.
